Description

Initially, fluorescent lamps repurpose approximately 60% of the consumed electricity into UV radiation.
Subsequently, these lamps only convert about 20% of the resultant UV radiation into visible light.
Consequently, the surplus 80% of UV radiation either radiates as UVA and UVB or morphs into heat energy.
Fluorescent lighting emits UVA (320-400 nm) and UVB (280-320 nm) forms of UV radiation.
